The brand traces its roots to 1912 when Arturo Fuente founded a factory in Ybor City, Florida, bringing Cuban tobacco traditions to the U.S. After a devastating fire in 1980, the company was revived by Carlos Fuente Sr., who moved production to the Dominican Republic, where it remains today Luxury Cigar Club+1.
